Radiowavz 40M-DBZ

A broadband 1/2-wavelength antenna that functions at 98% efficiency with a nominal VSWR of less than 2:1 over the entire band. The radiating section is constructed from 1/4" diameter coaxial cable that has the outer shield opened at the center to create the feed point which does not require a balun. The center conductor is not cut and does not radiate, but acts as 1/4-wave shorted stub that cancels reactance as frequency changes resulting in increased usable bandwidth. Feeds directly with 50 coax. The coax outer jacket is intact and sealed so there is no exposed wire. During rain or windy conditions, noisy static charges do not build up. Handles 1500W SSB & 200W CW. Install horizontally or as inverted V. Fully assembled.
