HF 1/4-Wave Sloper Antenna

Detailed Description

A 160, 80, 40, 30 meter single wire antenna requiring only 60 ft. of space overall and provides amazing DX performance at installation heights of only 35 ft. when mounted to a tower with a beam on top and the low end sloping to 8 ft. off the ground. Designed to be used at full legal power with 50 ohm coax and wide range antenna tuner. Utilizes stainless-steel hardware, 12 ga. solid copper wire and two efficient Alpha Delta "Iso-Res" RF choke coils. Pre-assembled. Best sloper performance is achieved when installed on a grounded metal support structure such as a mast or tower with an HF beam on the top. The use of a good isolating choke balun is recommended.
