HF 1/4-Wave Twin Sloper Antenna

Detailed Description

A 160, 80, 40 meter wire antenna that combines the DX capability of the 1/4-wave sloper with the bandwidth of a 1/2-wave dipole. One leg is 67 ft., the other 55 ft. Installs like an inverted-V with ground return accomplished thru tower, mast or a down-lead. Best sloper performance is achieved when installed on a grounded metal support structure such as a mast or tower with an HF beam on the top. The use of a good isolating choke balun is recommended.
