1:1 Choke Beam Balun

40-10M

Current-type, transformerless consisting of a stack of ferrite beads placed on a short length of RG-303/U. Isolates (chokes) the transmission line at the feedpoint which prevents RF currents from flowing on the outside of the transmission line without affecting the internal signal. Reduces RF feedback, BCI/TVI. Extended frequency range 160-10 meters. Handles legal power and VSWR up to 5:1 allowing use with an antenna tuner.
