4:1 Balun

Voltage-type used with a balanced antenna (dipole or driven element) to connect to an unbalanced coaxial transmission line (RG-8, 8X, etc). Prevents pattern distortion caused by unequal currents and assures that the antenna and not the feed line is doing the radiating. Effective from 1.8-40 MHz, rated 2KW/SSB. DC grounded for lightning protection. SO-239 connector and support hook.
