The GPS feature, when enabled, provides automatic system selection, permitting the scanner to turn system reception on or off depending on the user's location, and allows customizing the scanner's display to show location-based information. In addition, the GPS feature will send alerts at areas of special interest, such as dangerous intersections, school zones, or points of interest. The BCT15X also offers Uniden's unique BearTracker system, which alerts mobile users to public safety activity in their area as well as Close Call® RF Capture Technology that automatically locks onto nearby signals with no programming necessary. This model supports these TrunkTracker III systems: Motorola Type I/II/III Hybrid, EDACS and LTR analog trunk systems. Covers: 25-512, 758-824, 849-869, 894-960, 1240-1300 MHz. Expanded 9000 memory channels with up to 500 channels per trunked system. 100 system Quick Keys.
